What got me started?On a dare from my sister I attacked the most forsaken room in my house, my master bedroom... With reno's half done all over the house it becomes our go to storage space and so never looks very good. I only go in to go to bed and try to ignore it. Imagine boxes everywhere and tools next to the bed! Imagine clothing stacked up because I can't reach my closet!! NASTY!
Well now that I have taken a box full of stuff out to be donated and moved the storage to a cleaned out space in my laundry room I feel like I have a proper bedroom again, my little oasis if you will. Perhaps we will finish decorating it this winter, now that we can see how nice it can be!
I encourage and challenge, if needed, all you ladies to give your master bedroom a little love this winter! A good once over, organize, decorate or RESCUE! I think it is worth it and important to my husband and I, to any adult, to have a lovely and comfortable bedroom!

mmmm - there's nothing more lovely than a freshly cleaned space hey? Berry Guy just barely rearranged our bedroom, and I like it. But I desperately need to paint and hang pictures. So maybe I should get on that (lol) Thanks for the challenge!

ReplyDeleteI have many pent up dreams and plans for our bedroom. I am trying to not think about it... yet. I know my kids need good beds, with storage solutions, and that their rooms will most likely come first... the thing is our room doesn't require anythign being BUILT. Just paint, and the carpet ripped out, and then I could have at 'er in the decorating department. *sigh*. One of these days, but I don't think it will be this winter. Love your space, it looks extremely inviting.
